Ode to Concessions

It was Christmas morning
In Pendleton Town
Not a creature was stirring
The round-up grounds were shutdown
We awoke from our beds
To our presents and socks
Then we heard a small noise
Coming from Wilcox
The corndog man
Was packing it in
As he counted his money
He started to grin
He packed up his dogs, sticks and his batter
he made us all a little bit fatter
His snowman and signs
And all of his frills
Leaving us all with $2.00 bills
He flew out of town
Like a flock of geese
Saying "Merry Christmas to all"
"I'll be back with more grease!"
